To be honest with you many Iowa strip clubs are not typically where the best talent lies. You typically see girls from all over the tri-state area, that being Iowa, Illinois and Missouri who end up working at a lot of these Iowa strip clubs. If you go to one in Iowa City or one of the other college towns within Iowa you do tend to see a little more enthusiasm and younger dancers available for entertainment purposes. However, you tend to get just as much action from the drunk, young college girls who aren't even paid to get up on the pole, but still do try to get up there and dance. You do tend to see some college age kids come in there to the Iowa City strip clubs particularly from the football team and then you end up reading about some off the field incident in the newspaper the next day.

Many of the dancers in the Davenport area are actually married in their personal lives, but that is the reality of the world even though it can tend to put a damper on the festivities in my view. Many of the clubs in the Davenport and Quad Cities area are hard to find anyway so the high priced drinks and cover charge may not even be worth the hassle anyway. It never hurts to go in groups so you hopefully won't have to buy all your drinks yourself.

In a club like the Everwood Lounge in Southeast Iowa you do see a lot of truckers near retirement age and factory workers stop in there for a good time. I guess they want to spend as much time away from their wives as they still have the excuse of being out there in the work force. The dancers there are use to men who may have trouble getting stimulated, but they tend to work with you no matter what the situation may be and most of the clients appreciate their effort. To be perfectly blunt about it, there are pretty much just white women who end up being strippers in rural Iowa so if you are looking for a place with a lot of variety in the dancers you won't find in those small Iowa strip clubs. Although some of the dancers do try to change things up and dance on the bars or pool tables, it is hard to say exactly how much that invigorates the clientele.
